Context

Born in San Daniele del Friuli (UD) and residing in Montegrotto Terme (PD), Edi pursued art studies at University of Venice IUAV, Italy. Graduating in architecture (1971-1976), he then dedicated himself for 44 years to safeguarding and restoring architectural heritage in the institutional field until his retirement as Superintendency Area Inspector for Venice and Padua regions in 2020.

With a focus on drawing and watercolor, Edi values the swift execution and minimal technical requirements, allowing him to capture travel subjects sporadically. For him, drawing serves as both memory and narrative, transforming the act into a genuine journey despite not being a frequent traveler himself.

Currently, Edi shares his life with his faithful 8-year-old dog Phoebe, managing her urine incontinence by walking her 7 times a day, which also serves as his cardio exercise.
